Hermann friends, Rhiannon, Dea, and Sheila stopped in the Peers Store today for a little shopping. They couldn’t resist our turtle puppets. This is your public service announcement to keep an eye out on the roads as turtles are crossing the road and we don’t know why. Join me in thanking the ladies for their patronage.

Danny, Mike, Chris, and Todd are on their annual pilgrimage to Hermann, MO. The picture on the left is last year (2025) and the one the right is today. They made it to the Peers Porch, but not before they were drenched. Good friends, music, and some down time to play with Luna, the boys didn’t seem to mind the rain. Take note, they have matching Katy Trail bike jerseys, or as their’s states, Katy Fail. Join me in wishing them Happy Trails or in their case Happy Fails 🚴 and until next year boys 🍻.

Well, Luna (our resident dog), is enjoying the music on this cloudy afternoon at the Peers Porch. The Shrubs will be here until 3:00 pm, so come join Luna and listen to the unique sound of The Shrubs.

Rin Lee of Rin on the Road, https://youtube.com/?si=CWUvLckgMK4mN9lc is walking across the United States. She started 90 days ago in Daytona Beach, FL and she plans to finish in October at Seaside, OR. People across the country are following along. In fact, Jen and Hannah from Dardenne Prairie watched her on YouTube and knew they had to bring her something homemade. They arranged to meet up with her at the Peers Store bringing with them homemade granola bars to fuel Rin’s journey. You can find Jen and Hannah standing next to Rin in the second picture with our band for the day, Pik’n and Lik’n.

Join me in wishing Rin Happy Trails as she continues her hike across America. And a big thank you to Jen and Hannah for showing your Missouri hospitality and welcoming Rin to our state.

We're so excited to have Pik'nLik'n and The Shrubs back on the Peers Porch this weekend!
