Martini Shake off The Martinez Chamber of Commerce presents Martini Shake Off - celebrating the official birthplace of the martini and the rich history of bay side Martinez!

Enjoy a magical evening under the enchantment of a starry sky, a babbling plaza fountain, graceful white tents and dancing twinkle lights as you travel back in time to the elegance of the 1940's Rat Pack era. For the tenth year in a row this regional signature event will be held at the beautiful Plaza Ygnacio Fountain located at the steps of City Hall. The Plaza’s stunning fountain will serve as a

focal point and lights will twinkle throughout the venue to create a magical experience. Featuring live music by The Mixed Nuts, a delicious catered dinner by Zandonella Catering, specialty libations, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. This stunning and exclusive event has become the jewel of East Bay social events and is complimented by period/cocktail attire and silent auction items. Local Mixologists representing their establishments will compete for the designation “Best Martini in the Martinez Area” as well as a “People’s Choice” award. One of the most exciting parts of the Martini Shake Off is the Martini Competition! Every team will be shaking, stirring, and pouring their best creation in hopes of taking home 1st Place or the coveted People’s Choice Award.

Our panel of judges will select the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, but People’s Choice is entirely up to you! Sample the competing martinis, order a full glass of your favorite, and cast your vote for the cocktail that deserves the crown.

Will the defending champion claim 1st Place again? Who will become this year’s People’s Choice winner? There’s only one way to find out!
