Hello Mountain Mama Family Farm and Martinsburg Farmers Market family. I know we have been absent from market due to a combination of work and family obligations as well as trying to get our current house ready to sell. We have some unfortunate news to share. This past Sunday, Daniel hurt his knee (more) and is currently on crutches. We will know on Tuesday this coming week if he will need surgery. With his limited mobility, we aren’t going to be able to be at the market the rest of the season. We are so sad and will miss all of you!

We do have plans for next year when we’ll be on our new property! Plans are in the works to expand our capacity to grow micro greens as well more space to grow flowers. We hope you’ll continue to follow our journey and definitely could use some prayers!

I’ll start with a zucchini and goat cheese tart with wasabi micro greens. The great part - you can get zucchini and goat cheese at the market along with our micro greens when you come see us on Saturday!!

Do you ever get home from the Martinsburg Farmers Market and think to yourself, what do I do with everything I just bought??? We’re here to help!! Tonight, I meal prepped Greek chicken bowls with chicken from H&W Pastures LLC, vegetables from Willow Bourn Farms, and superfood micro greens from us (of course!). Whipped up a quick Greek yogurt dressing and some cooked brown rice, and we’re in business! You could pair this with a yummy slice of bread from one of the many bakers at market. Bon appetit!!

We got a wide array of microgreens for the Martinsburg Farmers Market. Don’t forget to bring the kids for Back to School Market! We will also have our rainbow eggs and flowers.

We are set up at the Martinsburg Farmers Market with our amazing microgreens. We also brought some “Fresh from the farm” flowers! We also have some squash and zucchini. And we can’t forget about our DILL-icious pasta! Stop by today and pick some amazing food!

We’re excited to have something “DILL”icious for tomorrow in celebration of National Farmers Market Week! In addition to our normal fare, we will be selling homemade dill pasta using freshly milled durum wheat pasta, our eggs, and fresh dill from Orr’s Farm Market. We think it’s a big DILL!! 🤣
