2025: A Year of Growth, Grit & Good Food
This year, our local food community showed up in ways that brought us joy and filled our hearts. 💚 Grateful doesn't even begin to cover it! Check out some of the cool things that happened this season:
✨ White Sulphur Springs started a recipe-sharing group. It has been pure joy to see what you all are cooking, preserving, baking, and experimenting with has turned into one of our favorite weekly rituals.
✨ Our community donated $150 to our Pay It Forward Fund, and we matched it! This helped us fill special orders for several customers in need. Your generosity continues to remind us what “local food community” really means.
✨ One customer donated her entire order to Fergus Free Fridge. We thought it was such a great idea that we cleared most of our pantry inventory and sent 8 boxes total.
✨ THREE of our producers welcomed new babies. Congratulations to Abby from Montana RancHers , Veronakka from Swanky Roots, and Joe from Martinsdale Colony!
✨ We brought in new pickup locations along our expanded route, and forged new partnerships across the state. We’re also working with a group to launch the Montana Distribution Cooperative, an exciting collaboration aimed at strengthening local food distribution statewide.
And the big news: Our future CMFH facility design & concept phase is COMPLETE. We're one step closer to a permanent home for local food in Harlowton. 🎉 Stay tuned for new updates throughout the winter!
