Kokopele Alpaca Alpacas Facts about Alpacas:
Their feet are padded and do no damage to the soil. They are low maintenance livestock. They eat less than other livestock. All free!

They drink less than other livestock. They require less room than other livestock. (3 to 10 alpacas per acre depending on where you live)

We had to say goodbye to our Carolina. She was such a character. Some days friendly, some days aloof and some days down right ornery. We loved her on all those days. It's so sad having an aging herd. However, we promised them a safe place to live out their lives no matter how sad it makes us to let them go 😢

Waited a few days to let this absorb some. When we decided to downsize, stop breeding and let our senior animals live out and enjoy their golden days, we didn't realize how hard it would be to watch them go one by one so quickly.
Winter was a true rescue. Hard times and treatment had befallen him. Thank you,Tracy and SELR for stepping in, helping him and bringing him here. We loved and cherished him so much and he absolutely knew he was safe here. His personality blossomed and he had a look of joy on his face everyday. Winter went home quietly and without warning last week. Hearts broke 💔. We're thankful for our time with him and the chance to show him love and care . Pronk on Winter! We miss you
