Today was a really disappointing day for our bakery stand.

We watched a teenage girl take about 10 cake pops from our self-serve stand without paying. As a small business owner, it’s heartbreaking and frustrating to see someone make that choice.

Every item on our stand is something we spend our time, money, and effort making from scratch. This isn’t a large corporation taking a loss, it’s a local family business.

It’s especially disappointing to see a young person steal when our stand operates on honesty and trust. We put our products out for the community and hope people will do the right thing.

Thankfully, the vast majority of people who visit our stand are honest and supportive, and we’re incredibly grateful for that. But moments like this are still discouraging and sad.

Please continue supporting small businesses and teaching our younger generation the value of honesty, integrity, and respecting the hard work of others. ❤️

I’ll have a variety of cake pops available alongside all of your bakery favorites. I can’t wait for everyone to see it!

We will be at an event on Saturday, but don’t worry, the bakery stand and the NEW Cake Pop Cart will still be out and stocked for you to shop.
