¡Viva México!

“These are the words powerful enough to free a nation on the eve of Mexico’s Independence Day. This is known in Spanish as the ‘Grito de Dolores’ and translated as the Cry or Shout of Dolores, which is reenacted every year on September 15.

In 1810 in the village of Dolores, Father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla rang his church bells inviting the faithful to gather. As the priest gave a fiery speech demanding freedom from Spain, little did he know that he had set the wheels in motion for the nation’s independence.

In tribute, every year during observances for the Shout of Dolores, Mexico’s president rings the very bell that Father Hidalgo rang, always ending the presidential speech with the words, ‘¡Viva Mexico!’”

Amigos y amigas, we got some good news and some bad news.

Bad news: next weekend will be our last weekend of regular service to the public.

Good news: we’re not done! We will continue catering services for every occasion.

Over the last 3 summers you guys & gals have shown us unconditional love & support. Something that started as a “COVID project” blossomed into so much more.

We were featured in Sauce Magazine, catered monumental life events, met some wonderful customers, and served the bi-state area with integrity & hospitality.

The catering side of our business is rapidly growing and we cannot be more excited. With weekend slots being filled by catering opportunities, we cannot continue regular biweekly weekend service to the public.

This new chapter excites us. We are eager for the challenges ahead of us. We invite growth & opportunity.

A friendly reminder that this weekend we won’t be open to the public. Next weekend will be our last weekend of regular biweekly service to the public. But stay tuned 😉 we have something in the works. Our goal has always been to open a brick & mortar. Let’s just say we’re diligently working towards that ☺️
