We suffered a significant loss last night due to theft, with someone stealing our blackberries and strawberries. The thieves managed to pick 3 rows of blackberries clean.
Fortunately, we were able to harvest enough for the farmers market. We are struggling to understand the motivations behind such stealing this much. Have others experienced similar crop theft issues, and if so, what deterrents have proven effective?
