Thriving Together Thriving Together provides Adult Day Support & VocHab services for people with developmental disabilities living in Union & Logan County, Ohio.

We aim to provide high quality programs, in small groups, always in a community setting, never in a facility. We are a DODD certified agency. We provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Union County.

October is Developmental Disability employment month. So, we are introducing you to another of our clients who is out there working hard in our community. Meet Danny. Danny values his privacy, so you only get to see glimpses of him from the back. Danny has worked at Ace Hardware for almost a year. I'm sure they appreciate what a good worker he his.
Here are a few questions we asked Danny.
What is your favorite part of the job? It's easy to get around and do my job.
Why is working important to you? It gets me out of the house and helps pay for stuff.
Fun fact about Danny - I have KOI fish. I am also an Eagle Scout and have a project at the Marysville VFW.

October is Developmental Disability employment month. So, we are introducing you to our clients who are out there working hard in their community. Meet Riley! Riley has worked for 4 years at UCO. UCO specializes in light assembly, repacking and warehousing. Riley is a hard worker who enjoys her job.

October is Developmental Disability employment month. So, we will be introducing you to our clients who are out there working hard in our community. Meet Ali !! Ali has been working for Thriving Together Collective General Store since it opened in February. She is a great worker there. She runs register, stocks, prices items, cleans and helps take care of the outside plants. Ali was also hired by the City of Marysville to water those beautiful flowers you see in uptown and at the pavilion. Ali is also a lover of animals. She loved helping at the Honda and Hounds event where she met so many sweet dogs. Thanks, Ali, for all you do!!

Here are a few questions we asked Ali
What is your favorite part of your job? Rolling out the plants and organizing the meat.
Why is working important to you? Not only does it help earn a little income, it also helps support my family and pay for my girls (2 pups) vet bills.
Fun Fact about Ali - Not only was I in 4H/FFA I showed my dog Radar at the Ohio State Fair. I was also a FFA officer for Marysville.

We are hiring for a DSP position. The ideal potential candidate would have experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, be able to work independently with up to 4 individuals at a time, and have excellent critical thinking skills.

This position would be partly for VocHab assisting individuals who work at Thriving Together Collective General Store & partly for Adult Day Support in the community. There would also be the potential for additional hours as we expand our ADS days, job placement & follow along services.

This position is currently part time 14-24 hours per week. Ideally this position would also cover vacations & sick leave for the 3 current staff. Shifts are approximately 7 hours per day.

Pay is competitive & significantly above the DSP rate for any local agencies. We also provide annual bonuses on hiring anniversary and holidays, & PTO time. Agency vehicle provided for all transportation.
