And just like that, the cows are AI’d and headed to pasture! 🌾🐄

The last few weeks have been nonstop — CIDRs in heifers and cows, a quick trip to Canada, AI’ing, and hauling cows out to grass.

Grant treated Linda to a couple date nights 💐 …even if they involved AI’ing cows. Who says romance is dead after 32 years? 😉

Meanwhile, Bailey got a reminder that office work doesn’t quite compare to ranch work 😂

It’s been go, go, go around here — spring in the cattle world. Busy days, green grass, and lots of babies in the pasture.

Cold snap prep means all the cows get extra hay and open waterers get wind breaks.

Bred heifers should start calving in a couple weeks with the cows not long after them.

Driving home yesterday gave us a chance to reflect on our time in Denver, and two words kept coming to mind: THANK YOU!

Thank you to our friends—both new and old—fellow breeders, association staff, NWSS staff, and most importantly our crew for making this trip to the Mile High City our best one yet. We are truly grateful for the interest in our cattle and in our program.

To everyone who stopped by our pen to view the cattle, thank you. It was great catching up with longtime friends and meeting so many new faces. A sincere thank you to those who purchased heifers and bulls, we’re excited to see how our genetics work in your programs.

To the friends and crew who helped get cattle ready before and during the show, thank you will never be enough. You show up time and time again with skill, humor, and hard work, and we’re incredibly thankful to have you in our corner.

Here’s to a successful 2026 NWSS—we’ll see you next year in the Yards!
