It's Wednesday and the farmstand is open. We must keep our eye on the sky today, storms are expected to roll in tis evening and we may need to shut down before 7pm if it gets too windy.

Today's harvest -

Lettuce, cucumbers, beets, zucchini, yellow squash, garlic scapes and cherry tomatoes. Honey also available.

The list keeps growing!

Farmstand Friday is here. Open until 7p. Spring produce is making is exit as summer produce is beginning.

Fresh - lettuce, sugar snap peas, cucumbers, beets, and a single, lonely pint of those coveted Sun Sugar cherry tomatoes (they will not be available at the farmers market tomorrow) Also, zucchini, yellow squash and one fnal bunch of spring radishes (they'll be on the spicy side)

Pantry -honey (both light and dark) and homemade apple butter

Farmstand open for Wednesday until 7pm. Harvested the first zucchini and yellow squash and some available on the stand today until sold out.

Lettuce, peas and cucumbers in the mini fridge.

Garlic scapes, radishes (limited supply) also on the stand with zucchini and squash.

Honey and apple butter also available. Apple butter now in limited supply.

Now, I get to don my bee suit and go check the hives in 90 degrees. Good thing they are in afternoon shade.

Farmstand is now open for Monday, June 8. Whew, what a muggy morning in the garden!

Fresh - sugar snap peas, lettuce, radishes, garlic scapes and cucumbers

Pantry - spring honey (lighter in color with a slight citrus flavor) and apple butter

We're open for Friday, June 5 until 7 pm.

Last week for radishes (they are mild now, but next week's weather will mean they bolt and get SPICY - gardeners, pick yours soon)

All done with veggie starts for this spring. We hope everyone's gardens do well this summer.

If you have applied and are approved for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, you can now use your benefits with us either at the Union County Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, or at our farm (by appointment only).

If you were approved for the program, you can now use your benefits at authorized farmers markets to enjoy fresh, locally grown produce while supporting local farmers.
