We may have a new baby, but Precious will always have my ❤️ 🥰
She’s so snuggly!
Meet Donner! Look at that cute little white dot….just like his Momma 🥰
Thank you to Amanda Horn for the name suggestion and for all those who submitted ideas!
UPDATE: We have narrowed it down to these:
Dallas or Donner
New baby bull calf born today! We need a name! Please comment suggestions. All we ask is that it is 1-2 syllables and start with the letter D like his mommy, DOTTY.
Although Floofy is all grown up and is living in Arkansas now, I still ❤️ this pic of him 🤣
The moo 🐮 crew!
Sammy says 👅 😛 🤣
Spent some time with my babies this afternoon.
*Dorothy looks so pregnant but she’s just fat 🤣
*Dexter has grown like a w**d!
*Mocha doesn’t look pregnant at all and she is 6 mos. along
*Buddy has adopted Brenda as his new mommy and sneaks snacks
*Thelma and Louise just wanted cuddles 🥰
Snack time! Precious, Snooki, Belle, and Wooki
Thelma and Louise do NOT like getting their nails trimmed. 🤣
Hangin with the noisy bunch. They are mad we are out of treats 🤣
New name for the Highlands 🤣🤣
Tell me I’m wrong 😁
Feeding time on the farm. Thelma and Louise were feeling photogenic. Buddy wasn’t feeling it 👅🤣
These are the “across the street” peeps. Most are Scottish Highland and Wagyu Cross. They all came from Covenant Farms in Rutledge where we got Precious and Mocha.
Wagyu beef is known for its intense marbling and carries a well-deserved reputation for exquisite taste, texture, and tenderness.
Highland Beef is slow maturing, lean, firm and very low in fat, but also rich in protein and iron. It is unsurpassed for flavour, tenderness and juiciness.
Went up to the barn this evening to feed, fly spray, and separate the herd. First 2 pics are Belle, Lazarus, Dexter, our newest addition Buddy (only 2 mos old) and Dotty and her last year’s calf Dove.
Some of the herd.
Local farm selling some beautiful livestock!
Feed time! Poor Precious says it is HOTTTT 🔥!
Baby Peaches is 18 days old and growing so fast. She is almost as big as Baby Belle who is almost 3 mos. The highland is getting more pronounced in their furry ears on all of Fancy Clancy’s offspring.
Beautiful sky over the farm tonight. God is good! 😊
Pretty sure it’s a heifer and we are naming her Peaches 🍑. If we got fooled, I’ll work on a boys name 🤣
This is Peggy’s last year’s calf, Percy.
Went back to see if we could find out if the new baby was a Bull or Heifer. Right now we are guessing heifer, but still aren’t sure. It’s so big already and only a day old! Peggy throws good calves!!
Well what a surprise! We didn’t even know she was pregnant! New baby born last night. Fancy Clancy has given us 1 more adorable baby. Peggy is very protective and likes to hide them longer, but hopefully she’ll bring it up soon so we can see if it is a boy or girl and name it. I’ll need some names starting with “P”. She’s already had Porky and Percey
UPDATE: We have 1 freezer cow left available @ December 7th or 8th if anyone is interested. Mostly grass fed. Supplemental grain to keep friendly and calm for better beef.
Please message me if you would like to reserve either a half or whole. $100 deposit to hold.
Beautiful evening at the farm!!
“They ran to the groceries, they filled up their carts,
They emptied the Tops and Price Chopper and Walmart,
They panicked and fought and then panicked some more,
Then they rushed to their homes and they locked all the doors.
The food will be gone! The milk eggs and cheese!
The yogurt! The apples! The green beans and peas!
The stores have run out, now what will we do?
They’ll be starving and looting and nothing to do!
Then they paused, and they listened a moment or two.
And they did hear a sound, rising over the fear,
It started out far, then began to grow near.
But this sound wasn’t sad, nor was it new,
The farms were still doing what farms always do.
The food was still coming, though they’d emptied the shelves,
The farms kept it coming, though they struggled themselves,
Though the cities had forgotten from where their food came,
The farms made them food every day, just the same.
Through weather and critics and markets that fall,
The farms kept on farming in spite of it all.
They farmed without thank yous.
They farmed without praise.
They farmed on the hottest and coldest of days.
They’d bought all the food, yet the next day came more,
And the people thought of something they hadn’t before.
Maybe food, they thought, doesn’t come from a store.
Maybe farmers, perhaps, mean a little bit more.” ❤️

Lazarus is getting so big! Peggy and Precious are in the background. He’s a good big brother to Baby Belle. We also added a Limousine to the herd…..Cindy (her horns make her look like Cindy Brady 🤣).
Beautiful day on the farm….just a few of the babies
Spent some time with my babies today! Belle is so adorable 🥰
Finally came up with names for the 6 mos olds. From L to R- Snookie(girl), Shaggy(Bull), and Wookie(Bull-Highland/Wagyu)
Got to spend some time with the littles this afternoon. Size differences.
Pic 1-Dexter and Lazarus
Pics 2 & 3-Lazarus and Belle
Happy Easter! He is RISEN!
While I was out hiking, Jamie bought me 6 more moooers!! A 6 mos. old Scottish Highland/ Wagyu Heifer, 6 mos. SH/Wagyu Bull, 6 mos SH/Angus Bull, a SH/Wagyu Steer, and 2 Wagyu/Angus Steers. We are gonna have some prime beef 🥩 for sale first of next year! Wagyu beef is known for its intense marbling and carries a well-deserved reputation for exquisite taste, texture, and tenderness. While Highland Beef is significantly lower in Fat and Cholesterol, and higher in Protein and Iron than other beef.
Lazy vibes on this wet day
We let Baby Belle and mom Brenda back in with the rest of the herd and she had the time of her life running and meeting everyone!
Stop with the bath in public Mom!! Now look at my hair!
