Hello family and friends! It has been quite the year for us so far and we wanted to give an update on the homestead.
This year so far has brought a lot of loss on the homestead. We lost all of our ducks along with over half of our chickens to a pack of coyotes that have been relentless! With that we are currently redoing and remodeling are set up here on the homestead to hopefully prevent more attacks on our flock.
So as you can imagine we had a decrease in what we could sell as we needed to save eggs for our family primarily. We are back though to a good production with our gals and are now ready to publicly start selling again.
So how can you buy eggs from us?! We have two ways of doing this! A weekly drop meet up at the Maryville Library. This is on Thursdays at 10am (this is subject to change as we will be welcoming a new little one to our family any day now) You can buy and receive eggs outside of that time but it has to be a pickup from the homestead and be coordinated with us. We accept cash or Venmo for purchases. We will have our farm stand opened this year and will also be able to sell eggs from it along with many other homestead yumminess. We will announce the dates later this spring for when the stand will be opened.
