Okay… LOOK AT THAT COLOR! 😍🔥

Some eggs are pretty. Some are speckled. Some have gorgeous blooms. And then every once in a while, you open the nesting box and find one that makes you stop and say, “Well dang, girl… you outdid yourself!” 😂🐓

That deep, rich color is exactly why we love what we do at Sulfur Springs Hatchery. Every generation, every pairing, every hatch—we’re always excited to see what the girls are going to give us next.

We’re halfway through another week, so here’s your Wednesday reminder: progress doesn’t always happen overnight. Sometimes you work, wait, learn, adjust, and keep going…and then one day you get to see the results of all that patience. 🌱❤️

Whether it’s chickens, a garden, a relationship, a goal, or simply working on yourself—don’t give up just because you haven’t seen the result yet.

🥚✨ Sometimes you don’t need a whole basket to make a statement… ✨🥚

Just LOOK at these two! 😍

One covered in those beautiful, almost painted-on speckles and the other showing off those darker freckles against that rich color. Same reason we love walking out to the coop every day—you truly never know what little piece of artwork is waiting in the nesting box. ❤️

We spend so much time looking forward to the big things that sometimes we forget how much joy can be found in something small.

A quiet morning.
A walk to the coop.
Two beautiful eggs.
A few minutes where life just feels simple. 🌱

That’s what this journey has become about for us. Not perfection. Not rushing to the next thing. Just learning to notice the good when it shows up.

Would y’all just LOOK AT THAT BLOOM! 😍 That girl didn’t just add a little color—she picked up the paintbrush and went to work! 😂🎨🥚

It’s funny how something as simple as collecting an egg can make you stop for a minute and appreciate the details. That bloom may look like a streak of paint to us, but it’s just another one of those little reminders of how incredible God’s creation really is.

We spend so much time worrying about tomorrow, carrying yesterday, and rushing through today that sometimes we miss the blessings sitting right in front of us.

This Sunday, slow down a little. ❤️
Thank God for what you have.
Spend time with the people you love.
And remember that even in the difficult seasons, He is still working.

Sometimes His blessings are huge and impossible to miss…

And what better way to head into the weekend than with a little EGG CANDY! 😍

Speckles, freckles, dark chocolate, terra-cotta, pinkish blooms… no two are exactly alike, and THAT is what keeps us running to the nesting boxes like kids on Christmas morning. 😂🥚

Some weeks are easy. Some weeks test every bit of patience you have. But either way, there’s something about slowing down and appreciating the simple things that can reset your whole mindset.

For us, sometimes it’s nothing more complicated than a handful of beautiful eggs from birds we’ve poured so much time and love into. ❤️

We’ve made it halfway through the week, and sometimes you just have to stop and appreciate the little things.

Fresh eggs from the coop, flowers still showing off, and another reminder that some of the most beautiful things in life don’t have to be perfect. ❤️

And y’all already know we’re suckers for those SPECKLES! 😍🥚 Every egg is a little different, and somehow opening that nest box never gets old.

Whatever this week has thrown at you, keep going. You’re halfway there. Find something today that makes you slow down, smile, and remember why you started.

The photos are coming in like CRAZY from people who started their flocks with chicks from Sulfur Springs Hatchery, and we absolutely LOVE seeing them! 🐣➡️🐔🥚

Look at these colors! 😍 From that beautiful blue to the rich chocolate and terracotta browns—there’s just something special about seeing what those tiny babies grow up to produce.

When we send chicks home with someone, we don’t always get to see the rest of their story. So when pictures like this start rolling in months later, it means more than people probably realize. ❤️

Keep sending them! 📸 We want to see those birds, those first eggs, those crazy colors, and everything in between.

Happy Wednesday! We’re halfway there! 🌻❤️

Don’t mind the dying flowers in the background… apparently we’re better at growing vegetables than keeping a bouquet alive. 😂

But look at THIS harvest! 🍆🥒🌶️🍅 Fresh beans, okra, zucchini, eggplant, peppers and tomatoes—all grown right here at home.

Wednesday feels a lot like gardening. You’ve made it this far, but there’s still a little growing left to do. Keep going. Keep showing up. And don’t worry if everything around you isn’t picture perfect—the flowers might be dying, but look at everything else that’s thriving. ❤️

We’re halfway through the week. Focus on what’s growing, not what’s fading.
