Weā€™ve called New York home for 100 years, and we will never forget September 11th. We owe that to the heroes who served, the friends and family we lost, the survivors still fighting today, and the community that came together to bring this city back stronger than ever.

A quarter of a century has passed, and all of us still carry something from that day. When the news hit us, a few of us headed up to the roof amidst the confusion only to see the tragedy unfolding in the city.

We also remember the clients who took everything they had prepared for the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy and handed it over to the first responders and survivors instead without any hesitation. Itā€™s one of many stories we hold close, because it reminds us how much our community matters.

Anyone in need of a new screensaver?

Sure, it might still be prime tomato season for a few more weeks, but fall will soon whisk away that picture perfect produce. Donā€™t fret - you can turn to our Slow-Roasted Tomatoes. Our producer only packs them during the peak summer months, using fresh tomatoes from Puglia and Sicily (see slide 2!). He then slow-roasts them, just enough for them to lose some water and concentrate their flavor, before marinating the juicy bites in oil and herbs. You only need a handful in sandwiches or your store-made pasta salad to bring them to the next level. Ask your rep for a sample and get cooking!
