𝑲𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒊 𝑲𝒘𝒂𝒂 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒇/𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓 at Comfort Kitchen Kitchen Boston. It's a restaurant celebrating the flavors and ingredients of the African diaspora, set to open this September in Boston. In 𝑬𝒑𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒅𝒆 2, 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑴𝒂𝒎𝒂 𝑨𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒅, Chef Kwaa returns with a new creation - 𝒁𝒂'𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝑩𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑬𝒈𝒈𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒆. He shares the origins of spices like za'atar and Urfa chili which originated in Turkey!

Many came out to celebrate and support the ongoing love work that we do along with partners and local residents, to provide access to healthy fresh food and work toward truly improving the quality of life of our community. We are excited about the future.

Chef Faison is the Culinary Instructor for The New England Center for Arts and Technology (NECAT's ) Re-Entry Program.

Chef Faison began cooking when he was in his teens as an outlet to keep himself busy and out of trouble. He pursued his love for food in college, attending Johnson and Wales Culinary School and later attending Northeastern University for his graduate degree in Education.

Chef Faison has extensive experience as a chef and instructor, formerly serving as Executive Chef at Aramark Refreshment Services, the Executive Sous Chef at Harvard Business school, line cook and server at Capital Grille in Boston, and a pastry chef at Julian’s, a vegan restaurant in Providence.

Destination Cuisine Summer 2022 continues on Tuesday, June 28 at 6:30 PM EST. In Episode II, Mama Africa Street Food, we will travel virtually with the innovative Chef Kwasi Kwaa, as he blends spices from around the world to create an exquisite meal.

A native of Ghana, Chef Kwaa has been honing his culinary craft at various kitchens in the Boston area. His passion for food has led him from his early start at Hi-Rise cafe & bakery, to the world of large-scale corporate catering at Fireside and BG Events.

He is currently chef partner at Comfort Kitchen, a restaurant celebrating the flavors and ingredients of the African diaspora, set to open September in Boston.

    Boston Compost Certificate Program

    Do you want to waste less and live more sustainably? Join the Boston Compost Certificate Program, partnering with the City of Boston to learn the how's and why's of composting in Boston.

    This five-module training series meets from April to June to learn about the impact of food waste on the environment and its connection to climate change.

    Each module will include practical knowledge, hands-on activities, and guest speakers.
    Participants will take guided tours of large-scale composting at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, the Charlestown CORe Facility waste management operation, which uses award-winning technology to convert waste into energy, and the city's own Boston Leaf Composting site.
    The program will conclude with a celebration ceremony at Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center.
    The first session will start on April 30, with our partners Urban Farming Institute of Boston.

    ReVision Urban Farm took part in the Boston Urban AG Tour!

    Our Farm manager Todd was one of many urban farmers and food system leaders from across the state who joined together to tour five urban farms and discuss the future of urban agriculture.

    One of the stops along the tour was to ReVision Urban Farm where everyone learned from Todd about the Farm's mission of food access to VPI programs and the greater Boston community, how the Farm utilizes grants to improve operation, and so much more.
