Root and Blossom Salon is opening a head spa and boutique the second week of October!!!
A head spa treatment is a holistic, luxurious treatment that combines a deep scalp cleanse with other spa rituals to improve your hair and scalp health. Head spas originated in Japan and are based on Ayurvedic practices. They can include:
Scalp analysis: A microscope can be used to analyze your scalp
Essential oils: You may inhale a blend of essential oils
Scalp massage: Traditional and innovative massage techniques can stimulate the scalp and increase circulation
Steam cap: A steam cap can be used to deeply pe*****te your hair with moisture
Conditioning treatment: Your hair may be conditioned after the steam cap
Nourishing scalp tonic or serum: Your scalp may be treated with a nourishing tonic or serum
Head spa treatments can help with: Removing buildup, Improving scalp health, Promoting healthy hair growth, and Providing stress relief.
The frequency of head spa treatments you need depends on your scalp type:
Oily scalp: You may need treatments every two weeks to control excess oil and prevent dandruff
Dry or flaky scalp: You may need treatments once a month to maintain moisture balance

Doing some updates for my businesses! Finally added my updated logo to the Root and Blossom Salon page! It now also includes a link to book your hair appointment! Soon you will also have a link to order haircare direct form the companies I use in the salon!!! I will add both links below for now too!!! NOW!!!! to work on updating the website and get our next cleanse ready for fall!!!

All I can say is WOW! Thank you Critsey Rowe Geist for creating this beautiful gallery of magic for me! at the spectacular age of "I don't give a F@$k!" 49, I am finally loving who I am. The unapologetic, beautiful, hot mess that I am! I am a health coach to other women going through many of the same things that I have been going through and I LOVE that I got to do this shoot to show other women that even at our age we can feel sexy, pretty, loveable, and SEEN. We do not have to feel frumpy and yucky, tired and unworthy!!!
Side note, since this shoot, I have lost 10 pounds! It really made me realize that I have plenty of life left in me, that continuing to take care of myself and putting in the work is really worth it!!!!
