We’ve been preserving all the green tomatoes that we have left as we are clearing out our greenhouse in preparation for spring. We made dill pickled green tomato slices that can be eaten as they are, or these can be used in further recipes like chow chow and cucumber and green tomato relishes. We’re also trying out two different types of green tomato jams!

We’ve been starting seeds for the spring, like our broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage as well as fresh trays of greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes!

We’ve got tomatoes tomorrow! We’ll have our stand set up here at the farm on Saturday 1/13 from 10:00-4:00 with lots of slicer tomatoes and green tomatoes. It’s the last of the greenhouse tomatoes for the winter since we’ll be clearing out the greenhouse for spring planting. $3/lb. Cash and Venmo accepted.

Come by and see us roadside tomorrow from 11:00-4:00! We’ve still got some greenhouse tomatoes, honey, and collard greens. We also have some Bloody Mary kits with garnishes from the farm and the mix made with our tomatoes!

-Quart jar of our Bloody Mary mix with horseradish and farm hot sauce
-garnishes including horseradish, celery, Meyer lemons, kohlrabi, lemongrass, cherry tomatoes, green tomatoes, peppers, turmeric, garlic, herbs
-Rim salts- ramp salt, smoked paprika salt, lemon pepper salt
-extra hot sauce and Worcestershire

We are going to be open again tomorrow, Saturday, November 18th, from 11:00-5:00!! We’ll be at our store right at the farm entrance off of Potter Road. We’ve got some great fresh fall veggies for you as well as antiques and other vintage items from our collection. Come by and see us early to get the best selection! The vintage items, kitchenware, plateware, and decor will be sold as “make an offer” unless they are price marked. The veggies include:

We’ll be open again today from 12:00-5:00. A lot of our produce was sold yesterday, but we’ve still got some for you! We have lots of beans, peppers, collard greens, zucchini, and yellow squash left for a discounted price! Browse our collection of vintage items. We have an interesting weekend! We’ll be open Saturday and Sunday, October 28-29, from 12:00-6:00! We’ll be by the road at the beginning of our driveway rather than down at our red farm building. Our produce will be set up in the first building on your left alongside our sale of vintage items such as furniture, plateware, kitchenware, and much more. It’s the merchandise left from Magpies Vintage Treasures which used to be open periodically. We’re selling items at a “make an offer” price. The building will eventually be used as a farm and local artisan store. We have a selection of Halloween decorations as well. Our fall veggies this week will be set up including collards, dragon tongue beans, squash and zucchini, fresh herbs, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers and hot peppers, kale, okra, celery, lettuce , salad mix, and more. Come see us starting tomorrow at noon. You can’t miss us right by Potter Road on the way into the farm!
