Opening Day at Dr. V’s Farm LLC! 🫐

The wait is finally over! Come join us for the official start of our blueberry season. Our bushes are loaded, the berries are sweet, and we cannot wait to welcome you to the farm.
Whether you want to hunt for the biggest bunch or grab a pre-picked bucket and go, we have you covered.

Date: Saturday, July 11th, 2026
Hours: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Come early to beat the summer heat!)

💰 Pricing & Payment

You-Pick: $3 per pound
We-Pick: $5 per pound
Payment: Cash or cards accepted! 💳

🧼 Health & Safety Rules

Handwashing: A handwashing station will be set up. Everyone must wash their hands before entering the harvest area.

Footwear: Shoes are strictly required in the harvest area. Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended for your safety! 👟

No Pets: Due to farming regulations, our furry friends must stay home. We are sorry, but thank you for understanding! 🐾

🌿🫐 Thank You for a Great Day at the Farm! 🫐🌿

We would like to send a big thank you to everyone who attended the Blueberry Pruning Workshop today at Dr. V’s Farm LLC! Your support, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn made the event a wonderful success. It was great to see so many people interested in learning how to properly care for blueberry plants and grow healthy, productive bushes.

A special thank you goes out to Mr. Mac Jackson with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension for leading such an informative and hands-on workshop. Your knowledge and guidance helped everyone better understand blueberry pruning—from young plants to mature bushes—and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your expertise with our community.

Events like this help strengthen local agriculture and bring people together around learning and growing. We’re grateful for each of you who came out to be part of it.
