We've been weaning, vaccinating, and gentling these spring born calves here at the ranch lately and we sure are happy to see how these POLLED and DOUBLE POLLED calves are turning out (and how gentle this +Ambassador blood truly is).
We recently received our Zoetis blood cards and before spring every animal on the ranch will have been tested to see if they carry the gene for horns. Much of our breeding stock is in fact DOUBLE POLLED and we're confident that we have multiple HOMOGYZOUS POLLED animals in the herd. Once confirmed we intend to begin the introduction of trait leading horned genetics back into our crosses and are very excited about the possibilities they will allow us while still providing producers the ability to using .

Our friends at Drake Farms currently have semen collected on the DOUBLE POLLED grandsire to three of these calves and he has YET to produce a horned calf out of 15 on top of 8 different horned cows, give Jody a call or come see us here to appreciate these dog gentle cattle that are catching the eyes of more and more progressive breeders each day.
