Thank you to everyone who came out for our Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull at the Carver County Fair! We had such a great time and loved seeing all the kids participate.

We’re sorry things were cut a little short due to an unexpected equipment issue, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.

Don’t forget to join us TOMORROW for the Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull at the Carver County Fair!

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and the pull starts at 11 a.m. at the entertainment center. Open to kids ages 4–11.

While you’re here, stop by the St. Joseph’s booth by the Grandstand for a chance to win one of three great prizes. 1st place is a 1/4 of Gongoll Beef and a chest freezer!

Silo vs. Grain Bin: What's the difference?

They might look similar from the road, but they serve very different jobs.

Silos:
- Tall, narrow, and built for silage
- That means the entire corn plant is chopped, packed, and fermented
- It turns into a nutrient-packed feed (like a cow casserole)
- Commonly used for dairy cows

Grain Bins:
- Shorter and wider
- Used to store dry grains like corn, beans, oats, and wheat
- No fermenting - just storage
