Looking for another person to join our team this spring to help us pull orders, pick up flats, load racks, clean and tag plants, move and condense plants, help out with planting projects, learn to water the product and other similar tasks. We start every morning Monday-Friday at 7am and work until we are done. Pay will depend on plant knowledge and experience in the nursery business. This is an entry level position that can lead to more pay and project management status quickly, depending on work ethic and dependability. Monday-Friday position. Hours are 7am-4pm with an hour lunch. You will be working with other planters planting plugs into flats of dirt, sticking cuttings, running dirt in the dirt house. You must be able to plant your flat of plants and bend over and put it on the ground. That motion is repetitive. There is constant bending over to put flats on the ground. The job requires standing with movement on your feet all day. There is no sitting for 8 hours. It is a fast paced job. The job with require some speed and efficiency and we will work with you to build your pace, but slow will not be acceptable. People with back pain or neck pain should not apply. We work in greenhouses, so the job is dirty and can be hot or chilly, but we never work in the freezing cold. Temps are kept 60 or above. We have a great group, and we have a really good time here. BUT WE WORK VERY HARD!
