It’s been a bit since our last post so we thought it’d be a good time to share what we’ve been up to.

After building our little greenhouse and giving our seedlings some love we got started on preparing our “field” (aka backyard) for transplanting.

A family friend, Kevin Petersen, came over with his tractor and rotor tilled for us. This was quite an improved process from past years where we did it with a push rotor tiller. (see video)

Then it was time for planting and setting up the cages.

Now we’re in full swing growing season!

Hoping not to jinx it but it’s been great weather so far for the tomatoes. And if it stays this way tomatoes may be ready a bit sooner this year.

That’s it for now! Check out the shots we’ve taken at our progress thus far.

Happy Summer!
