On November 3rd Jessie and Seth welcomed their little man, Brantley Paul in to the world! He weighed 5lbs 4.7oz and 19 1/14 inches long!

We are getting ready for some cold nights ⛄️

Calves bedded with fluffy straw ✔️
Backs put in so they don’t get a draft ✔️
Hot box for new born calves is underway…

Something new that we have been working on for a few months. Added another bulk tank! Milking 900 cows adds a little more time to the parlor. So now our milk hauler can come during milking hours and pick up milk.

Select Sires Member Cooperative (SSMC) organized the Northeast Iowa Progeny Performance Tour on July 30. Over 70 dairy producers from Minnesota and Iowa joined the excursion.

And that’s a wrap with hay silage this year!
We had some pretty amazing help for our first year chopping our own silage and we are very grateful for that!
