Tiny but mighty.

Something as small as an elderberry is packed with antioxidants, vitamin C, and other natural compounds that can help support our immune system. It's amazing that such a tiny berry can hold so much goodness. It reminds me that God often places great things in small packages.

The more I learn about the plants He created, the more I'm in awe of His wisdom and provision. Long before we understood the science behind them, God filled the earth with plants and fruits that nourish our bodies and remind us of His care.

"Then God said, 'Behold, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the face of all the earth and every tree whose fruit contains seed. They will be yours for food.'" — Genesis 1:29

Every berry, every herb, every flower is a reminder of His creativity, His generosity, and His faithfulness.

"He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate—bringing forth food from the earth." — Psalm 104:14

The next time you see an elderberry, remember—you may be looking at one of God's tiny reminders that He has filled His creation with purpose and provision.

Lilly girl was ready to be milked this morning. She's come a long way from when we first started. There was a time it took us 2 hours to get her in the chute. Now she's waiting for me.

🐄 She's here! Meet Lilly, the very first dairy cow at Sixth Day Valley Farm!

This is a special milestone for our family and our farm. In Genesis 1:24–31, we read that on the sixth day God created the livestock and animals, and then created man to care for His creation. That passage is the inspiration behind the name Sixth Day Valley Farm and our commitment to faithfully steward the animals and land God has entrusted to us.

With Lilly's arrival, we're excited to announce that we are now accepting new members into our herd share program! If you've been looking for a reliable source of fresh, farm-produced milk while supporting a local family farm dedicated to responsible stewardship, we'd love to have you join us.
