Someone told me i should post more pics and videos from around here. So here we are!
I just trimmed some trees over the driveway and brought them over to the girls to munch on. I spend some time scratching them while they lounged around. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to the camera at the time but I got some video of them enjoying the trimmings. Acha(pronounced Ah-kuh) is on the left and Michal(pronounced Me-kale) is on the right.

Our neighbor found a guinea nest and gave us some eggs a few weeks ago. Meet Papua, our new guinea. We are currently hearing another egg cracking open in the incubator :)

Wood Frame TN State Flag

TN State Flag painted on plywood with repurposed wood frame. I love how the paint colors show through the charred wood underneath!

This flag was made with raised red stripes and union on rustic white base. It's sealed with interior satin polyurethane. 21in tall x 37in wide. It's fun to experiment with different styles. If you are interested I can make more like this.

Wht. Frame TN State Flag

TN State Flag painted on plywood with repurposed frame made from trim molding. I love how the paint colors show through the charred wood underneath! The contrast of the rustic frame and the deep colors of the flag make this my favorite flag yet!

Framed painted 1776 flag

Painted flag on plywood with antique rough-cut oak frame. I love how the paint colors show through the charred wood underneath! The salvaged antique oak frame was a challenge(because of the warping) to work with but it was worth it now that I've seen how it came together.

Waving American Flag

This flag is made from 2 joined slabs of pine. It's 20in tall and 38.5in wide. Carved to shape, painted, hand carved union stars and 3 coats of indoor gloss polyurethane. It comes with D-rings attached to the back for easy hanging.

The wood for this project came from a pine that uprooted during a windstorm knocking out our power for a couple of days. Because of that it, felt even more therapeutic to mill and shape this wood in particular.

This was fun but tedious to make. Regardless, if this sells, I hope to make more!
