So how is it I came to be a "goat lady"? It's true, I did have my husband build me the horse barn of my dreams only to find dreams change. After several concussions/surguriy and a really bad deal from a crooked horse dealer I made the decision to try anouther species for 4-H. Enter our forst two goats from Hollow Run Farm. Hazel, Graces' first breeding project and Whiskey Pete the market goat. A c

ouple of weeks later add Isabel my two week old pure Nubian doe from Molly Maid Milkers and you have the start of The Firefly Farm. What welse can I say? Love at first sight. A new hobby and a new purpose for our beautiful horse turned goat barn. :-)

Heres a litte video of the puppies to brighten your day! They turned 1 week old on Sunday. They litter is called Bobbie and the Bobette's. Each puppy is named after a musician. Can you believe my beloved Dolly Parton up and dies just after i named a puppy after her?! For some reason i thought she'd go on forever. 💔

The soaps are colored with Brazilian Clays, Indigo, Spirulina, Cinnamon and Tumeric. I hope everyone enjoys the scents of the season!

Soap is cooking TODAY! Im making shampoo bars as well. I'm tip-toeing into fall scents. Its hard to believe its about that time again but fall scents are my favorite so why not enjoy them as long as we can?! 🍂

Also today Bobbie is 8 weeks pregnant. Shes looking like a bit like The Great Pumpkin! 🎃 This next week will be all about getting her and her puppies safely over the finish line. 🙏

Things are busy outside of the studio this summer here on the farm. Bobbie is embracing the roly-poly stage as she enters the final stretch of her pregnancy. 🏈 Shes all round belly and tiny legs! 😆

Working from home affords me the ability to be with be with my momma goats and weenies virtually all the time. This gives me a huge peace of mind in an otherwise potentially tense time as birth grows near! Thank you for supporting my small business. 🙏 It means so much to Bobbie and all the rest of us!!

How lucky were those guests to walk away with a full size bar of soap, a beautiful handmade washcloth and a cedar soap tray? All that while celebrating a love story!!! ❤️
