So how is it I came to be a "goat lady"? It's true, I did have my husband build me the horse barn of my dreams only to find dreams change. After several concussions/surguriy and a really bad deal from a crooked horse dealer I made the decision to try anouther species for 4-H. Enter our forst two goats from Hollow Run Farm. Hazel, Graces' first breeding project and Wh***ey Pete the market goat. A couple of weeks later add Isabel my two week old pure Nubian doe from Molly Maid Milkers and you have the start of The Firefly Farm. What welse can I say? Love at first sight. A new hobby and a new purpose for our beautiful horse turned goat barn. :-)

Remember how i said i have a few very speacial additions to my shop? Here they are! Pam Smith has made you some HANDCRAFTED Triple Fold Vanilla extract. Her extracts are premium and upgrade any recipe.

Also new in the shop are beautifully crocheted washclothes/dishclothes in all new colors and patterns by Virginia Lynn. They are perfect as a gift set to pair with a soap and a tray. She crocheted cross bookmarks too for the readers out there or perhaps a speacial gift for the one being confrimed, baptized or dedicated. They're the perfect token to let someone know you care.

Soapy Friends heres a sweet puppy and momma video to watch to warm your heart before bed. I do intend to restock my store this week since is stripped it for River Road. I wanted it done already however I've been feeling under the weather and life slows for no one. Ill post when i get it done!
