Last GSPHC show of the season and we went out with a bang!

Almost a clean sweep in the 2 pleasure classes for Callie Jo and “Elsie” and almost (unofficially) earning their ROM in green western pleasure in one shot! 3 firsts and a second in the green pleasure and 4 firsts in the jr pleasure! Time for “Elsie” to spend the winter learning new tricks😉

Looking for barn help! Mostly for morning chores and cleaning stalls. 20 stall show barn plus some outside horses and a small herd of cattle. MUST be reliable and provide references. Would prefer someone who is experienced with horses and cattle, but we have no problem teaching someone willing to learn! Pay depends on abilities and experience, can also offer discounted full board/training in exchange for help! Very family oriented so absolutely NO DRAMA!

Great GSPHC show this past weekend! So proud of all our horses!

-CHARLIES COWGIRL had wins in the open performance halter, green western pleasure and junior western pleasure and was high point open horse
-HILFIGER IMA CHARLIE had wins in the senior western pleasure and placed in AM performance halter with Karen Ware and the open performance halter
-CASHING IN MY PENNIES debuted and had wins in the open performance halter and junior western pleasure at her first big show. Also got 2 3rds out of 6 in the leadline with Autumn Wilson their first time!
-A GOOD FRIDAY debuted and had wins in the open halter at his first big show
-FIRST RATE GENTLEMAN and Jenna Miller had wins in the youth performance halter and 2 1sts in the novice youth western pleasure out of 10!
-DOCTOR GOOD BAR and Jackie Rambo had points in the AM all around events
-RED HOT ASSETS had points in the open yearling halter
-SCRATCHIN MY ASSETS and Brittney Rigg had some confidence boosting rides
-SONNYS READY TO ROCK and Cody Ware had great rides and points in the speed events
-HE SPENT THE NIGHT and Debbie Morning had great rides in the ranch events
-QTS TIME FOR STREKEN and Kim Weaver had great rides and points in the speed events

Home from a great first AQHA show right before the world show. Hilfiger Ima Charlie and Callie Jo Ware had good schooling rides to warm up for the senior trail and western riding at the world show and ended up getting 1/2 western riding point. A Good Hotrod had an exhausting weekend at his first show as an all arounder but he gave his all and got 1/2 green HUS point in a tough class and placings in everything else. Joe Chalow finally got to show his home bred and raised horse and had a nice ride in a deep amateur western pleasure class. Congrats to everyone and good luck at the Pinto World Show!! See you there!
