Germantown District Show 2026

A great day out for showing, a little rain and storms, but they passed quickly.
Colby had an awesome day, winning Senior Showman and Overall Showman.
He had 3 class winners in the Angus. Champion Angus and Reserve Overall Heifer with BWC Hazel 2304, “Hazel” in her first trip out this year.
Reserve Champion Angus with BWC Hazel 2303, “Adaline”, and Champion Angus Cow/Calf.
The steer had a good day with Reserve %AOB.

The Kentucky Angus Association put on a wonderful banquet and meeting this past Monday.
Thank you so much for your work throughout the year and recognizing the juniors. Thankful for a wonderful supportive state association!
Colby and Katy both earned 2nd place honors in the ROV points program.
Katy with Johnson Blackbird 372 and Colby with Cow/Calf Pair, WSC Hazel 2301.
Looking forward to another great show season!

A great weekend out in Morehead for the Bourbon Trail Jackpot! Colby ran this show solo, so Katy took over in the ring. Looking forward to a great show season with this heifer!

We are so proud of Katy and all the work she has done this year!

We are proud of the beautiful Kentucky royalty representation at NAILE! Assisting Miss American Angus, Claire Murnin (Montana), are Kentucky Angus Queen Annaliese Hardin (Springfield, KY) and Kentucky Angus Princess Katy Cooper (Mayslick, KY). 🌹👑🏆 These ladies have done an outstanding job representing our state and association this year. Their effort has not gone unnoticed! Thank you ladies for a job well done.

Starting to get colder in Kentucky. Time to clean off the fireplace and get ready for a new show season! It was a great summer with lots of success with the cattle and great memories with friends!
