It has been time well spent on the farm this week. My vacation was spent playing musical chairs with chickens. 😆 Story of my life! But as I was going through them I have decided to down size my Cochin Bantams. I have a millie fleur roo and 3 hens that go with him.
Alot of roosters have been hatched this year on the farm. I would like to give them a chance to find their new coop before they find the freezer. Unfortunately, I will not be able to do pairs unless I post that I can.

Listed below is what is UFD.

1 ISA Brown mix? Hen. She is currently with 3 babies but she is starting to lay a nice brown egg again.

I have had a chick blow up this year! Between the planned shipped chicks, shipped hatching eggs, & incubating my BLRW eggs to the unplanned broody hens hatching babies I have around 80 babies...🫢🫣😲
There is absolutely no way I can keep them all especially when I already have about 20 to 30 adults. But I am adding new breeds/varieties this year so I guess more is less in the long run. 😜🤣

So I have 15 to 20 mixed chicks that need to leave my feed bill. In the near future I will have Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Jubilee Orpingtons, & Chocolate Silver Laced Orpingtons.
