Big group of lambing has started for 2026. The first of 65 ewes delivered a set of twins on their due date. Here’s to sleepless nights, early morning, and late nights for the next few weeks. All hands on deck.
We also had another litter of Anatolian Shepherd puppies last week. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Coop had them in a brush pile in the pasture. We moved them up to the barn with the rest of the sheep.

Couple pictures of the puppies! They are a little over 1 week old. Eyes aren’t open yet, but mama is doing a great job keeping them safe, fed, and warm! We moved them to the barn last weekend. There will be baby lambs born right next to them.

Been a busy few days here on the farm.
Saturday we had our first twin lambs of the year. Both rams.
Sire: Barnes DL516 Baron
Dam: Ellis Sheep 23014

Today we had puppies. 8 puppies in total.
Sire is a full blooded Anatolian Shepherd.
Dam is half Great Pyrenees and half Akbash.

Still 14 more ewes to lamb in January.

This Christmas season, we rejoice in the Good News first shared with shepherds in the fields—that a Savior had been born, Christ the Lord.

Oregon State Fair 2025

This was our first time showing our St. Croix on a big stage. We traveled to the this past week.

We had a great time while there and took home some hardware to prove it. We met some new friends and hung out with friends that are FAMILY.
