When we tell people we get animals dropped at the farm often. I don’t think people realize how often or that is not just a chicken or two. We’ve had goats, pigs , cats, rabbits, and more.

We came home, tonight to find a new Goat. That was dropped off sometime in the past two days. If this is your Goat please message us with all the details.

Now for everyone else please don’t drop animals at our farm, if you have an animal you want to get rid of reach out and we may or may not take it. We are not a rescue, so if we did take it the feed, vet bills, and up keep come out of our pocket.

Other reasons not to just drop them off-

We don’t know their health status and it jeopardizes our animals if we don’t quarantine and deworm them first.

They don’t know our fences and animals and if they get out it becomes our problem

It’s rude

With the continued heat, the farm will be closed until Sept 19th!
The animals are enjoying a break and some down time in the shade. We are also able to start knocking out some things here we are needing to get done.

We look forward to seeing y’all this Fall for our Fall festivities, Halloween trail, and of course, the Festivals of Lights trail. We also can’t wait to show off the renovations and changes happening between now and then!

After a lot of thought, we've decided to pause our produce market for the time being.

The biggest challenge has been the weather. Because our current produce building is not climate-controlled and doesn't fully protect customers from heat, humidity, flys, and rain, attendance drops significantly on ultra hot or wet weekends. While we have great , often sale out weekends otherwise, the profits from those days are often offset significantly or completely by the slower weather-affected weekends.

This wasn't an easy decision, but we believe it's the right one until we can build a better facility that allows customers to shop comfortably regardless of the weather.

We are exploring ways to continue offering fresh local produce through market boxes and other pickup options. We'll be spending the coming week working on a system that is convenient and reliable, and we'll share details as those plans come together.

The farm itself will remain open for enjoying the animals, nature trials, and playground on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7am until 12:00 PM as someone will be there anyways feeding, watering, and tending the animals and we look forward to continuing to welcome families out to visit.

Thank you for supporting local agriculture and our family farm. We appreciate every customer who has stopped by, purchased produce, and helped us grow. We look forward to bringing the market back in the future with an improved facility that better serves our community.
