Took a chance in early April and planted bush beans in my small tunnels hoping they wouldn’t get frozen out.
Thankfully they made it through the frost and the mid May freeze.
We will have Dilly beans next weekend and fresh beans for our CSA customers this Wednesday.

We will have fresh mustard greens, lettuce, onions, napa, Bok Choi and plant starts ( tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, herbs and luffa). Salsa, salsa verde, Oma’s krautsalat, sweet hot mustard, jalapeno jam too

The feedback last night was AMAZING…these tacos were definitely a hit!!!

These are what we are battling against this spring. Hundreds or thousands of slugs. They have invaded our lettuce, greens and any thing else they can.
The chickens don’t seem interested in eating them either. Any organic solution is welcome.
