Weekend update: Of course we did some more work on the add on. Subfloor is going on! The loofahs are vining really good now. We canned 14 pints of pickles today. Also tried black beans with the pressure canner For the first time ever. Our flowers are coming on good. If you went a fresh picked bouquet they are $6. Tons of eggs as well as always!

Not a ton of extra time this weekend but able to get stuff done. Pickling cucumbers are starting to be ready. The loofah’s are starting to vine up the panel! A lot of the older chickens have been laying double yolkers. Finally got a on of pumpkins planted, even 500lb one!! The flower garden is going but of course lovely ragweed in the whole thing. I’ve hit my gardener status, out in the heat tending to my plants sweating. Got the rest of the hay bales moved! Younger chicks and guinea got to move to the barn to free range. And the add on has taken off and going strong so far.

Veggies are starting to go crazy. We have sugar snap peas (6$/lb), green beans ($5/lb) and zucchini’s (1.60$lb). We have yellow zucchini’s as well just not as many. Beets if anyone is interested. Of course eggs as well.

We have Sugar Snap Peas, zucchini, turnips, and eggs coming in on a daily basis. We will have other stuff available soon...

Busy day like always. The older of the chicks have been laying great. We expanded their run area more today. Will do even more later. Had an older one of my chicken hatch one baby so far!
We have 2 dozen eggs available. Sugar snap peas are coming like crazy! 3.5 lbs just today. Zucchini’s are starting as well. Picked some turnips. Let us know what veggies you want.
