Another garden installation in the books 🙏🙌! I'm so happy with how it turned out, but most importantly, my client loves it!!

Guess how many times she's had a garden in the past? Zero! But she is so excited to get started growing and learning about how to plant, care for, and harvest her plants!

It was an honor and a privilege to teach these girls about growing food last month!

We started with the foundational knowledge of good soil structure and health, what a seed needs to grow into a plant, and how to care for a seedling as it grows...until you get to harvest day!

I was so thrilled to have some of the mom's reach out with pictures of their child's success, growing from seed! And also to hear that the workshop inspired them to plant up a larger garden at home 😃🙏🙌!

I absolutely love helping others learn about how to garden and celebrating their success! I love it so much that I offer one-on-one garden coaching, so you can sky-rocket your skills and have success right away!

If you're a beginner gardener or have some experience but are wanting to level up this year, reach out and let's talk about your goals!

The hot is here... like it or not. And the plants have been telling me! Bolted and bitter lettuce; dill and arugula going to seed... it's time for a fresh start and a new season of growth! This hot season I'm adding more climbers, doubling up on herbs I use a lot of, and growing more foods that preserve well/have a longer shelf life (like hard-skinned squashes).

Radishes can sometimes get a bad rap... like they're only good in salads. Which, they are! BUT! I actually grow a ton more radishes now, just to pickle them 😋. In the it's definitely time to harvest the last of your cool season veggies, if you haven't already. This last cool snap is a saving grace, even for our warm season veggies/fruits like tomatoes, bell peppers, and cucumbers. If you still want to grow these, but haven't started anything yet, try a complimentary hot season varietal like tomatillos, hot peppers, and Armenian cucumbers! Hapy growing, friends 😃!
