Our 2026 season has come to an end.

Thank you for giving us grace and showing us kindness. It has helped carry us through a berry season full of unpredictability and bumps in the road. But when life gives you lemons and a strawberry patch, you make strawberry lemonade 😀

Thank you to our berry team and picking crew - who endured early mornings, last minute changes, pouring rain, and whatever else was thrown at them. They embraced the chaos with patience, grit, and plenty of laughter. Keegan and I could not ask for a better team to work alongside!

We are hopeful for the future and look forward to next year's harvest off our newly planted patch. But for now, we will take a deep breath and reflect on the goodness of God and this season. What a blessing it is to be exhausted from something you have been entrusted to steward.

Thank you all again! We appreciate you continuing to support local and for giving us the opportunity to serve you. See you next year 😊

UPDATE AT 2:15PM: There's still berries for you to pick! We are here until 6pm. Come and see if you can beat the biggest flat picked this season, now weighing in at 16.68 pounds 😁

Today, July 2nd, is the LAST day of our season and we are open for u-pick only until 6pm 🙂

Don't let the rain stop you! There are still great berries to pick and it will be an enjoyable time for all!

It was another hot one today, but those who stopped out and put in the work, left with some beautiful berries in no time at all! My patch helpers, Kobyn and Atlys, picked these about an hour ago as we were getting the patch ready for the last time.

** THURSDAY, JULY 2ND WILL BE THE LAST DAY OF OUR SEASON ** WE WILL BE OPEN FOR U-PICK ONLY FROM 6AM-6PM. Yes, you heard that right!

Between the heat and the rain we have already had, and the heat and rain that is coming this weekend, we believe that tomorrow will be the last good day for berries. There are A LOT of red ones out there, and it will be an enjoyable and fun u-pick day! So bring out the family and grab your berries for the shortcake, jam, pie, and ice cream for the holiday weekend! 😄

On Tuesday, June 30th, we will be open for u-pick only from 6am-12pm at the LaChance Road patch. A map is in the comments below for those of you who may need directions.

The heat is here and it is bringing the end of our season closer! Come on by and help us pick the patch clean 🙂 We believe we are done with pre-picked berries, but there is still plenty of red in the patch to be picked by you!

A friendly reminder:
- dress appropriately for the heat
- consider bringing a hat and sunscreen
- bring water and stay hydrated
- it is okay to take a break in the shade
- if you need our help at any point, call the berry phone, wave your hands, or do whatever you need to get our attention and we will be out to you as soon as we are able

We would love to see you again before our season comes to an end!

**UPDATE 11:14AM: WE ARE SOLD OUT OF PRE-PICKED BERRIES, BUT ARE STILL OPEN FOR U-PICK ON LACHANCE ROAD UNTIL 5PM**

We will be open on Monday, June 29th from 9AM-5PM for u-pick and pre-picked berries.

Today, will be a great day to u-pick before the heat comes in! You won't be picking monster berries like last week, but there are plenty of good sized, tasty berries out in the patch!

To place an order for pre-picked berries, give us a call at 231-429-1885 any time after 9am. If you do not get through to a person, please keep calling or stop in to see us 🙂 We are not able to take orders through Facebook and we are not able to take pre-orders for the week.

🍓 $50 per flat (9 quarts/13.5 pounds)
🍓 $6 per quart (1.5 pounds)
🍓 We accept cash or check

If you are looking to u-pick tomorrow, we will be set up around the corner on LaChance Road at 9am. We have attached a map below that will direct you from the berry shack to the u-pick location. All you have to do is pass the berry shack and continue West on Finkle Road. Once it comes to an intersection, turn right onto LaChance Road and keep driving until you see the red tent 😄 Please park along the road, be courteous of our neighbors, and do not block any driveways. Come see us at the red tent and we will get you ready to pick! This location does have a portable bathroom.

We may be coming to the end of our season this week. The heat that is coming will push the berries to ripen quickly. If you want berries, now is the time to get them! We will continue to go day by day and keep everyone updated.

Thank you for another great turnout today! We enjoy hearing the recipes, the life updates, the jokes, and all the inbetween. Your kindness, truly, goes a long way!

On Sunday, June 28th we will be closed to let the patch (and ourselves and our berry crew 😂) rest.

Once we walk through the patch on Sunday night, we will update you on what Monday looks like. The heat that is coming may push us to the end of our season, so get your berries while you can 🙂
