If you have wicker furniture or wood furniture in general, but especially wicker, please do it a favor and oil it.
Skip the Murphy’s oil soap, go straight for boiled lineed oil.
Put on gloves, and get a microfiber cloth not a paper towel. If you don’t have microfiber, something else will work, but microfiber works best. Pour some linseed oil in a bowl and soak your cloth in it and then wring it out.
Rub everything down with a decent coat until all the furniture you want to oil is coated.
Then get a dry clean cloth and start rubbing it back down on the piece you first started with so that it had time to soak in.
In the winter time, I probably do this every other month because our house is so dry since we heat with wood and I have precious wicker furniture.
But I think you should at least try to do it yearly if not twice a year. Your furniture well thank you.🙂
