THANK YOU to our buyers at The Brahmans at the Camellia Sale!

One of the greatest compliments a breeder can receive is repeat customers. We are especially grateful that both of our buyers in this year's elite sale were previous customers who returned because of the success they experienced with their earlier purchases.

A sincere thank you to David & McKenna Raskosky of DM Cattle Company and Baldemar Bravo of Bravo's Ranch for your confidence in our program. We truly appreciate your support and wish you continued success with your new purchases. We look forward to watching what the future holds!

We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend at The Camellia! In 2021 when Chris started this sale we were invited and have participated each year. We always save our best back for this sale due to it being a good market but more importantly a premier event that is FUN. We are bringing the whole family and look forward to having a great weekend with friends and other Brahman enthusiasts.

We will be offering two lots this year that are backed by some of the most proven and exciting genetics in the breed!

Today’s Brahmans at the Camellia Sale Spotlight: Sandglass Ranch

Chris Allen’s interest in Brahman-influenced cattle began when he was a child showing Indu Brazil & American breed cross cattle. Following a stint in the Marine Corps and the start of a successful business career, Chris wanted to create something for his boys.

In 2015, Sandglass Ranch was started as a commercial cattle operation in McCaulley, Texas. In 2017, they purchased their first Brahman cattle that were used in an upscale F-1 program. After seeing the breed’s value, Sandglass Ranch expanded into registered polled and horned Brahmans in 2019 when they purchased some of the most proven & popular genetics in the breed.

Sandglass Ranch expanded its operation to the Hallettsville, Texas area in 2021 and remains a premier operation focusing on quality over quantity and is known throughout the breed due to their superior seedstock.

Happy Fathers Day from all of us at Sandglass Ranch!!! We hope Chris Allen has a great day and appreciate all he does.

This is a beautiful sight of our herd in Hallettsville on lush green grass. We can't say the same for West Texas which is part of the reason that we have multiple locations.
