Busy week at Grace Farms! Got the fence around the garden and most of the around the backyard painted. Trim on the chicken coop painted. Installed two flag poles. Hauled several tractor scoops of cow poo/rotting hay to the garden area and spread. Mowed the pasture near the house. Fed cows. It was a good week!!

We scattered 50lbs of turnip seeds in our hard pan areas. Supposed to get rain this coming week. The cows love the tops which are 23% protein. There are 117,000 seeds per pound, you can do the math that’s a lot of turnips lol.

Grace Farms will have grass finished British White beef for sale this fall. We sell 1/4, 1/2 or wholes. Will deliver within 150 miles of McCaulley, Texas. Price will be determined later this summer. Price is based on hanging weight.

Due to the severe drought in our area there will be no beef available this year. We grass finish beef and without grass no beef. We have steers to slaughter but we will not sell beef that is not properly finished.

We took a lot of Texas hospitality and good cooking to Wagons for Warriors in Lebanon, Mo. This event was to raise money for wounded soldiers in the Fort Leonard Wood area. We had a blast! We cooked a couple of dishes from Perini Ranch and they were both a hit.
