The first season tester ears of corn from the early variety have been assessed. They obtained a great flavor of success... The corn is cultivated using 100% Organic amendments following a cover crop and with no additional side dressing of fertilizer thru the grow season. The early variety has smaller ears around 7-8", perfect for a side at dinner.

Following numerous seasons of experimentation, success has finally been achieved. This late summer broccoli received irrigation for merely 10 days after transplant and was never irrigated again. Also this crop was never sprayed with anything and it was never grown under insect netting. This outcome exemplifies the remarkable benefits of living soils. Potatoes planted in mid summer are making good progress during this spell of nice summer weather. The fact that all 4 rows are planted with our own seed potatoes is a significant advantage.

It would be difficult that one could find cherry tomatoes with a more robust size and texture, as well as a superior tomato taste, than these grown by us locally in Grays Harbor County.

Spring and early summer beds have been cleared and replanted with 6,000 sqft or 24 beds of buckwheat cover crop, which will be mowed in approximately 30 days to make way for a winter cover crop seeding, thereby establishing an optimal foundation for the following grow season.
