It's been said that a truly great horseback riding instructor is hard to find, difficult to part with, and impossible to forget. We are looking for our next truly great instructor to join our barn family! Our instruction focuses on horsemanship skills and a balanced seat, English or Western, to prepare riders for future ownership, pleasure riding, or showing.
The job tasks include
-teaching beginner-intermediate level English and Western riding lessons 2-5 days a week, 3-6 hours a day
-working with other staff to maintain our programming herd. flexible hours.
Qualities we are looking for include
-dependability and organized
-good communication skills with other staff, riding students, and their parents both verbally and on our various farm organizationals app
-passionate about horses and helping riders develop good horsemanship skills off and on the horse
-ability to work in all weather, mounted and unmounted lessons (we do have a covered arena)
-background of formal training
-experience teaching preferred.
