We made our way to Rex Ga this past weekend for the 2nd Rocky Mount Baptist Church Summer Fest.
The heat was brutal the sun beating down and no wind made for a miserable day. I can’t tell you how proud of this team that took all that punishment and still fought to be the top team. This was the first time I took an all girls team into comp but it won’t be the last.
1st place Ribs
1st place overall.
Way to go team.

Perfect trifecta this weekend. 1st in chicken 2nd in ribs with a first place overall. 1st in sauce (with our sweet heat) and 1st in crowd pleaser. What a day.
