Sunny Sunday closed the 2024 cutting season at Pioneer Tree Farm. It was wonderful to see so many familiar, and new, faces!

We will certainly have a great crop next year, so ... put us on your calendar!

Tomorrow Sunday is the last day for cutting your own 2024 Christmas tree at Pioneer Tree Farm north of McHenry. The weather looks perfect: sunny and just cool!

$100 (cash or check) for any type or size. As always, many fun Pioneer activities for the whole family. Free cocoa too!

Update on trees: White, Red, and Scotch Pines to 8', Fir and Spruce to 6' (over that height, they tend to be thinner now, than traditional cone shape).

Come on out to Pioneer Tree Farm north of McHenry IL Saturday or Sunday for the last days of cut-your-own Christmas Trees in 2024!

The weather looks great, there are many excellent trees left, and activities for the family -- as always -- and more!

Frasier Fir and are easy to find, but over 6' they're getting a bit thin. Pines run to 8', White Spruce to 7'.

Another great day! Open for cutting again tomorrow (Sunday), and next weekend, arrive 9-4.

Scotch, White, and Red Pines still to 8'. Spruce and Fir to 7' (though the taller ones are a bit on the narrow side now).

We have a campfire going, and a warming house with hot cocoa, but bundle up .. and enjoy!.

Thanks for everyone who came out on "Day One," 2024! Still open Saturday, Sunday, and the 7th and 8th.

Everyone at Pioneer Tree Farm is looking forward to the 2024 holiday season!

We're open Nov 29, 30, Dec. 1, 7, and 8 with the hay rides, candle dipping, wood working activities, dutch oven demo, chickens, crafts, campfire, and of course free cocoa and coffee in the wood heated warming house, with crafts.

We have spruce, fir, and pines of all sizes, along with activities for the whole family. All organically grown and tended, the trees are looking great! They are $100 each, any size (cash or check only).

Entry gate opens 9:00 to 4:00.
