Pioneer Tree Farm is beautiful today, the last day of the season for cutting your own Christmas tree, north of McHenry IL. Pioneer Tree Farm in McHenry IL will be open for a cut-your-own experience Sat &Sun (Dec. 6 &7). Great trees and family fun! Spruce, fir, pines, all sizes.

Also crafts, hands-on activities, campfire, haywagon ride, borrow a saw, we have twine... a great day all around! We look forward to seeing you here. :)

After a beautiful snowy day Saturday we'll open Sunday with plenty of excellent trees. As we recover from the snowfall we'll resume the craft activities, and we expect a sunny day. There will be limited wagon rides. Dress warmly!

Greetings friends! We will open for Cut-Your-Own Christmas trees on Nov 28, just after Thanksgiving, 9-4 p.m., that weekend (29th-30th) and the next Dec. 6 and 7. As always, we provide saws, shaking/baling, hot chocolate, and historic craft activities: candle making, woodworking, and Dutch Oven cooking. We have a great stock of pines, spruces, and firs.
