This little garden is right in our backyard, and it gives us so much to nourish our bodies.

Today I harvested calendula, one of the most useful flowers you can grow. Calendula is traditionally used to support the lymphatic and immune systems, soothe the digestive tract, calm inflammation and support healthy skin and tissue repair.

The flowers can be brewed as tea or infused into oils and salves for dry skin, irritation, minor cuts and burns. This is also why you will find calendula in so many of our herbal tea blends. It is gentle, versatile and works beautifully with other herbs.

Even a small garden can provide food, herbs and plant medicine right outside your door. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿงก
