Good morning from Stade’s Farm and Market! Here is your Farm Report for Sunday October 25.

Can you believe it? Another glorious Sunday in late October! This is definitely a day made for going to a farm to take a hayride, pick pumpkins, pick apples, enjoy our Farmtractions Theme Park featuring over 50 unique attractions, shop in our large farm market, and eat, drink, and be merry!

There is only one more weekend remaining this season to come to Stade’s. Who knows what the weather will be then! This is your day folks. We are waiting to help you make lasting family memories!

Good Morning from Stade’s Farm &Market! Here is your Farm Report for Saturday October 24.

Here we go again! Another beautiful fall weekend is upon us! All systems go here at Stade’s.

Upick: We still have plenty of apples, pumpkins, raspberries, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, flowers, & more.

Farmtractions Theme Park: All 50 plus attractions for all ages open from 10 am to 6pm. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch are still a family tradition!

Farm Market: Since it hasn’t frosted yet we still have many of our summer favorites. Yes we still have sweet corn and it’s probably the sweetest of the season! Tomatoes are also still being picked here at Stade’s. This is the longest season we can recall.

So take advantage of this weather blessing because we all know the shoe is about to drop!

Good Morning from Stade’s Farm & Market! Here is your Farm Report for Friday October 23.
I am writing this post as I drive the sweet corn 🌽 picking tractor ( see pictures). It is very unusual to still have fresh sweet corn this late in the season! This corn was planted on July 29 which is also very late. Last week’s frost was light enough that it didn’t kill the sweet corn plants! Therefore we will have plenty of corn available right through the end of our season which is November 4th. The ears are smaller but it is oh so sweet and tender! We have burlap sacks still available if you want to freeze a bunch.

On the Upick front we are open daily with apples: Evercrisp,Rosalee, Pink Lady,Granny Smith, and more. We also have: tomatoes,raspberries,peppers,cabbage,cauliflower,broccoli,winter squash,flowers, and of course pumpkins of all varieties!

Our Farmtractions Theme Park will be open Friday, Saturday & Sunday with over 50 attractions for all ages.

Another incredibly beautiful weekend is upon us! It is very unusual for the weather to be this nice at the end of October. Take advantage, we are only open two more weekends!

Good Morning from Stade’s Farm & Market! Here is a Upick update for Tuesday October 20.

Big news! We are now picking Evercrisp Apples. These are considered the best midwestern apple now. For those of you who haven’t tried them yet they are firm extra sweet apple which will last for 6 months in your fridge without losing any flavor or firmness. We consider them better than Honeycrisp.

Another great opportunity for Upick is Winter Squash. We are selling a bushel of acorn, butternut, pasta, delicate, and buttercup squash for just 10$! There are approximately 30 squashes and it weighs over 40 lbs. You may mix varieties any way you want and we supply the baskets that you can keep.

Many apple orchards are now closed due to a late frost in the spring that killed many of the blossoms. This greatly reduced the size of their crop. Fortunately at Stade’s our crop was spared. The elevation of our orchard is high enough to avoid the cooler temperatures which sink to the lower areas. ( Remember heat rises )
Therefore we have plenty of apples to get us through November 1st! Here is a list of apples and other Upick crops available daily from 9am to 5pm-Apples:Evercrisp, Rosalee,Golden Delicious, Pink Lady.
Tomatoes, potatoes, flowers, pumpkins, Raspberries, kohlrabi,peppers, and more.

We have been blessed here at Stade’s by missing the frost in the spring and last weeks frost! We even still have sweet corn in the market! This entire week and weekend in going to be absolutely gorgeous! Please try to visit us and enjoy the best time of the year. You know what’s coming!

Great news! Jack Frost did not arrive this weekend! That means Our sweet corn, tomatoes, raspberries, peppers, pumpkins, apples, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, beets, kohlrabi, and more are still available for Upick. ( sweet corn is in the market prepicked only)

Today is going to be a classic perfect fall day! A day made for families to be together. All systems go at Stades! We can’t wait to help you make lasting family memories.

Good Morning from Stade’s Farm & Market! Here is your Farm Report for Saturday October 17.

Another fabulous fall weekend has arrived. There is a chill in the air which makes it even more fun to go apple and pumpkin picking, experience over 50 unique farm themed attractions, and shop in our expansive farm market featuring in season produce (yes we still have our own sweet corn and tomatoes) our famous apple c***r donuts, meats, and hundreds of unique country items!

There are only 3 more weekends remaining to enjoy Stade’s Shades of Autumn fall festival and this one is a prize winner! Farm Market is open 9am to 6pm, u-pick is open 9am to 5pm, and Farmtractions Theme Park is open 10am to 6pm. Stade’s is the place to make lasting family memories!
