🎆🐾 Keep Your Pets Safe This 4th of July! 🐾🎆

While we’re celebrating with fireworks and fun, our animals may feel scared or anxious. Here are a few tips to help keep your pets safe and calm tonight:

🔒 Secure them indoors – Loud noises can cause pets to bolt. Make sure doors, gates, and fences are secure.
🎶 Play calming music – Gentle background noise can help drown out the sound of fireworks.
🆔 Update tags and microchips – Just in case they get scared and run off, proper ID is a lifesaver.
🐕‍🦺 Avoid bringing pets to fireworks shows – It’s safer (and less stressful) to leave them at home.
🧸 Create a cozy, quiet space – A blanket-covered crate or quiet room can feel like a safe retreat.

🌞 Keep Your Farm Animals Cool This Summer! 🐄🐖🐑🐓

Hot temps can be just as hard on our animals as they are on us. Here are a few quick tips to help your livestock stay safe and cool:

✅ Plenty of Fresh, Cool Water – Refill often and make sure it’s shaded if possible.
✅ Provide Shade – Trees, tarps, run-in shelters, or barns help protect from direct sun.
✅ Air Flow – Use fans or open barn doors/windows to keep air moving.
✅ Avoid Midday Work – Handle animals early in the morning or late in the evening.
✅ Cooling Options – Misters, sprinklers, or even a kiddie pool for pigs and ducks!
✅ Watch for Signs of Heat Stress – Panting, drooling, or lethargy are red flags.

Your animals depend on you—make sure they’re staying cool and healthy this summer! 💦🐾
