Farm Girl Fancies I am a fiber artist from the hills of southeast Kentucky. I specialize in quilted wall art pieces, but, also do commissioned work for larger pieces.

I am a teaching fiber artist. I love to create unique pieces of quilted wall art. I can create that special piece for you! My husband, Doug, and I live on our farm, Buena Vista Ridge Farm. We have Icelandic horses and enjoy trail riding. Please contact me and we can "chat".

My Mystery Quilt. Each month I received a chapter from a murder mystery book, accompanied by a quilt block pattern. The blocks were clues to solving the mystery.😊

Baby boy quilt, using the Spool Pattern. The original block was smaller & I chose to enlarge. The blocks are composed of squares & rectangles. I’m currently working on one for someone that is all solid color fabrics. I think it’ll be really eye catching.😊

Wall hanging made using my hand dyed fabric, except for the black. The center piece I made from a turkey feather using a dye that reacts with sunlight & leaves the pattern of the object laid on the cloth. I learned to dye fabric in Pat Sturtzel’s classes at Learnshops in Berea.
