Just wanted to give a big shout out to all of those who helped take care of our homestead the last few weeks! Because of everyone’s willingness to help we were able to take a long roadtrip and see so many of Gods amazing creations. Breath taking! We are so thankful for our friends and family for helping we are so thankful for the things we saw and we are also so thankful to be back home! We are so thankful for the many many prayers that got sent up for us. We traveled close to 8,000 miles and God was with us for each and everyone of them! Now to switch gears from vacationers back to homesteaders ❤️🌽🐐

Sorry for no update…the corn wasn’t hardly as ready as we thought when I posted earlier this week…What got picked today is already spoken for and the next picking here in a few days I’ve got a list going for it! Thank you everyone!

I think we’ve surpassed “knee high by the 4th of July” haha! 🤪

Just thought it would be fun to show how tall the bread corn is in comparison to my mom!

This variety of corn gets 10-12 ft tall and matures between 110-120 days. It is a little over 1/2 way matured at this point.

Seems to be doing GREAT! We are very excited about this and thankful!

there’s been several stop by the stand today (which is great!! Thank you all!)

Anyways I just wanted to say I do not have eggs sitting outside because I feel it’s too hot for them right now 🥵🔥

but I do have plenty eggs available that are refrigerated and some on the counter from yesterday that have not been refrigerated yet!

If you need any let me know you can honk or knock on the door I am here! We are just breaking beans 😁

I just simply have not had much time to post seems like this year but I just want to say the Lord is so good. Our patch of bread corn at my dad’s is doing great. The taters seem to be doing well. Our home garden is doing good. We’ve been able to make some farm improvements lately. The patch of sweet corn is doing well. We were able to cut hay here back of this. Our sorghum patch is looking great and we’ve bout got it all tended to as far as thinning and transplanting to prepare to cultivate the last time. And we’ve had several people stop by the stand lately.

I know we aren’t some big flashy farm or nothing it’s just our little homestead but we love it and the Lord certainly is helping us along with everything we are trying to do here. I praise the Lord for His many blessings He is so so good to us!
