SAY HELLO to La Tiendita's ATLAST Latino Leadership Students for 2025-2026!!!!!🎉
ATLAST is one of La Tiendita's empowerment programs. It is a 9 month Leadership
Internship for High School Students that teaches (1) social skills/etiquette: (2) conflict resolution: (3) workforce development:(4) cultural empowerment: (5) financial literacy: (6) leadership: and (7) how to manage and operate a small business (La tiendita).
Overall we teach our students how to be leaders in their schools and community.
Additionally, if any challenges come up for our students we offer 365/24/7 wraparound assistance that addresses any needs that come up whether it's mental health, medical, educational or anything else that would hinder our students from graduating and maximizing their full potential.
Basically we tell our students "Just focus on accomplishing your dreams and let us focus on everything else!"
Much thanks to our board, volunteers, staff and supporters that make this amazing and extremely beneficial program available for our kids.
