Last but certainly not least, we wanted to spotlight some of the semen lots that will be selling as well! Don’t forget — sale day is TOMORROW!

We’re offering semen on several hard-to-find and highly useful bulls, including 10 straws of Silveiras Style, sexed Conley Express, sexed Insight, and even 1 straw of Northern Improvement.

On the home-raised side, we’re selling 20 straws of sexed WF Debonair 201 and 10 straws of WF Semper Fi 202. These offerings are NOT available on the open market, making this a unique opportunity to access genetics that are otherwise not being offered publicly.

Happy Easter Sunday! We wanted to highlight one more embryo lot before shifting our focus to the semen offering.

LOT 7:
TGM Compton 1738 X W C C Andi W98 sexed female embryos

Something a little different here. A full sister to these embryos was a division champion in the B&O show at the Texas Junior Angus Show in 2022, and a maternal sister also won her division in the owned show three years prior. The W98 daughters have the big and bendy legs in a larger-framed package with added look and length of spine. Additionally, the maternal granddam to these embryos was a division champion at the Atlantic National and Dixie National, as well as a reserve division champion at NAILE and the All-American Angus Futurity. As an added bonus, these embryos are heifer safe — the calves come tiny but take off and explode in terms of growth. These embryos were made via a conventional flush using sexed semen.

Happy Friday! As we count down to April 8th, we’re excited to highlight another pair of lots from the sale offering.

LOT 5:
Colburn Primo 5153 X WCC Mignonne E108 “Paris” sexed female IVF embryos

These embryos would be full sisters to a senior yearling we finished showing last fall. That heifer, WF Mignonne 301, reminded me so much of “Paris”, just in a flashier, more modern package. 301 was the Supreme Overall Heifer at the North Texas Fair and the Champion Angus Heifer at the West Texas Fair. The heifers from this mating should be long and level topped, bold in their rib shape, and absolutely rocket fronted.

LOT 6:
EXAR Classen 1422B X WCC Mignonne E108 “Paris” IVF embryos

We all know that crossing First Class and Insight lines together just flat works, and that’s what I predict will also be the case here. “Paris” was a fun one we showed a few years ago, being named a Reserve Division Champion at the NJAS, Supreme Overall Heifer at the Belt Buckle Bonanza, Reserve Champion Angus at the West Texas Fair, and Champion Angus at the North and East Texas Fairs. Maternal siblings to these embryos would include our herd sire, WF Debonair 201, as well as WF Mignonne 002, a Conley Express daughter that was a reserve division champion at the ROV Fort Worth Stock Show.

It’s hard to believe Mom is actually letting us part with some of these. Just ask her, and she’ll tell you this is her favorite mating we’ve ever done. The guesswork is already done here, with past calves from this cross including the highly successful WF Jade 905 “Ruby” and WF Semper Fi 202, who both found their way to the backdrop at many Texas major shows. Bid with confidence on a mating that has already proven itself!

SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 X 2K Blackcap 907 “Jade” sexed female IVF embryos

Our “Jade” cow is truly one of the most impressive Angus cows I’ve ever seen. She simply never misses regardless of what bull you cross her to. She’s so ideal in her structure and design, yet still packs a punch in terms of muscle and rib shape. Crossing a powerhouse female like this to 24 Karat was a no-brainer.

KR Casino 6243 X Wilks Frontier Gal 3354 “Farrah” sexed female IVF embryos

A truly special mating here. With how well this young donor has been flushing (40 embryos from this Casino flush alone!), we knew we had to offer up her genetics to the public. Farrah comes from a cow family that needs no introduction. Her dam, EXAR Frontier Gal 2057, had an extremely accomplished show career for the Koelling family, racking up accolades left and right and being named the 2019-2020 ROV Reserve Show Heifer of the Year. Additionally, Farrah’s maternal granddam is the famed EXAR Frontier Gal 1405, the almost $4 million producer for Express Ranches. Combining Casino’s power and mass with her look, depth, and femininity should make some absolute hammers of show heifer prospects.

WF Semper Fi 202 X Wilks Frontier Gal 3354 “Farrah” sexed female IVF embryos

Power in the purple! This is an exciting mating we have been eager to make from day one. Crossing Farrah to our favorite bull we’ve raised out of our very best donor cow was a no-brainer. We expect the females from this cross to be stout made, big-legged, massive ribbed, and extra attractive through their front third, with the kind of look and presence that can compete at the highest level.

We are beyond excited to announce that we have had our first calf as a result of Terry completing an embryo transfer! Being able to successfully perform embryo transfers (especially on frozen sexed IVF embryos) is not for the faint of heart, and we are so grateful for you going to embryology school to learn how do so.
